Cadillac Allante and Alfa 164 towers of buttons

After watching this video of the Cadillac Allante, Edvin noted the incredible number of buttons in the car.

This reminded me of a similar layout in the Alfa 164.  They were both designed by Pininfarina and came out in 1987.  Coincidence?

I never realized the 164 too had that many buttons. Wonder what the button with the fuel pump -logo does? Also I like the little joystick on the radio. :)

@Edvin: I'll bet the fuel pump is the button for the fuel filler door. Strange place to put it, no question.

I first noticed the 164 buttons on a really old episode of Top Gear on Youtube.
